Collection of Ecohydraulics book now on line

Today, I am sharing a message from Prof. Michele Mossa, PhD, Chair of IAHR Committee on Ecohydraulics – I can only recommend exploring his library collection on Ecohydraulics:

Dear Friends,

Hope that this message finds you well.

As I mentioned about one year ago, I have managed to secure a significant budget to purchase books that are either on Ecohydraulics or relevant to the field of Ecohydraulics.

As you know, my goal, as stated in my presentation when I applied for the role of chair of the TC on Ecohydraulics, is to involve young students and researchers in learning about Ecohydraulics.

I am now pleased to announce that the Ecohydraulics collection has been established. You can access it via this link:

https://poliba.primo.exlibrisgroup.com/discovery/collectionDiscovery?vid=39PBA_INST:39PBA&collectionId=8151309480007046

It is also possible to access it from the PoliLibrary search engine by entering ‘Ecohydraulics.’ The first result is precisely the ‘Collection of Ecohydraulics.’

At the end of each webpage, to go to the next page, simply click on the “CARICA ULTERIORI COPIEā€ button. There are many books available, including the ones you suggested. Most of them are in eBook format. Some books are open access, while others can be requested and will be provided to those who email me, as my university covers the cost. As I mentioned when I proposed this initiative, in my view, this is a way to make educational and research materials in the field of Ecohydraulics available, particularly (but not exclusively) for students and researchers who might face financial difficulties in their work.

I would be grateful if you could help spread this initiative by sharing the link. Since this is a collection of Ecohydraulics books in digital format, it can, of course, be easily updated. Therefore, if you have any additional books to recommend, we can continue to improve the multimedia library.

Have a nice day. Hugs and ciao,

Prof. Michele Mossa, PhD
Chair of IAHR Committee on Ecohydraulics
