Prof. Dongdong Shao is Professor and the Head of the Department of Ecological Engineering at the School of Environment at Beijing Normal University, China. He obtained his PhD from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, and worked in Singapore-MIT Alliance for Research and Technology as a Postdoctoral Associate before joining the BNU faculty. His research is primarily focused on hydro-/morpho-dynamics and vegetation dynamics of coastal wetlands and pollutant transport in coastal waters.
