Dear followers of the HyPeak Webinar series,
The HyPeak team is happy to announce the 15th HyPeak webinar, which will take place on May 21st, 2025 at 16:00- 17:00 CEST.
There will be two presentations around the hydropeaking effects on freshwater insects and their mitigation:
- Theodore A. Kennedy (USGS, Grand Canyon Monitoring and Research Center, USA): Colorado River Ecosystem Response to Experimental “Bug Flow” Releases from Glen Canyon Dam, Arizona, USA (20 min)
- Emmanuel Jaulin (INRAE, France): Can hydropeaking impair reproduction of stream insects? An experimental study on the effects of artificial dewatering (20 min)
