About the Journal
The Journal of Ecohydraulics (TJoE) is an international, peer-reviewed journal published by Taylor & Francis in partnership with the International Association for Hydro-Environment Engineering and Research (IAHR).
The journal covers interdisciplinary research that bridges hydraulic mechanics, ecology, geomorphology, and environmental management across freshwater, estuarine, and coastal systems.
TJoE’s 2024 SCImago Journal Rank (SJR) is 0.459.
The Opportunity
IAHR seeks an Editor-in-Chief (EiC) to guide TJoE for a three-year term beginning in late 2025.
Key Responsibilities
- Set editorial vision and strategic direction
- Ensure rigorous, timely peer review
- Promote the journal to attract high-quality submissions
- Build and support a diverse editorial board
- Collaborate with Taylor & Francis on journal operations and outreach

- Broad interdisciplinary expertise and active engagement in the ecohydraulics community
